How It Works
Purchasing online has never been easier. Here is how to purchase travel insurance in just 2 minutes!
Step 1: Click the “Get Quote” button and it will send you directly to the GMS travelstar page.
Step 2: From there, you input your date of birth, if you have a spouse or dependents, please add their dates as well. It will than ask you if you smoke on the same line, you can select yes or no.
Step 3: Select the single-trip plan if you would like insurance on just the one trip. If you will be traveling a lot during the year, you may choose the multi-trip plan for either 15 or 30 day intervals (this means you can travel as many times as you like but only to a max of 15 or 30 day trips).
Step 4: Select your coverage type. Emergency Medical Only coverage includes medical coverage for up to $5,000,000. Trip Cancellation will include insurance should their be any delays, interruptions or loss of baggage to your trip.
Step 5: Top up coverage, in most cases you can select no, if you already have a plan and would like to extend it, you may select yes.
Step 6: Select your departure and return date.
Step 7: Select your deductible ($0 is the most common as the price differences are very small).
Once you have your quote at the bottom, you may purchase it and follow the instructions. It will ask for information such as your address, email and credit card information.
Once the purchase is complete, please check you email inbox for your policy!
